Job Description

We immediately require multiple Technical Proposal writers for submitting proposals in response to several Request For Proposals (RFPs) from government agencies in United States of America.
Candidates should be developing IT bids for submissions to the RFPs of Federal, State, County and City levels.

LEAD TECHNICAL PROPOSAL WRITER:

The primary role of the Lead Tech. Proposal Writer is leadership of development of multiple proposals often with one month or less turnaround times, with responsibility for enhancing the winning position of each assigned bid.

Provide proposal development tools and direction to proposal teams, and they supervise and manage staff throughout the proposal development cycle.

Responsibilities include analyzing the RFP requirements, leading storyboard efforts, working with subject matter experts to drive solution development, developing outlines for writers, developing proposal schedules, and directing proposal development.
Solicit and ensure participation from proposal team and subject matter experts on applicable proposal sections.

Manage the proposal development process, providing training to proposal contributors, and ensuring best practices are adhered to.

Desired Candidate Profile

LEAD TECHNICAL PROPOSAL WRITER:

Expertise in planning, organizing, scheduling, compliance checks, status reporting, and all related tasks necessary to respond effectively to government procurements.
Handle operations as Volume Lead on large proposals as well as work all aspects of small proposals and Task Order proposals.
Critical attributes include exceptional teamwork, flexibility, organization, and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude. Must understand government contracting and proposal processes.
Essential Skills:
B.A. or B.S. in a related field.
Excellent organizational skills blended with excellent command over English (both written and oral).
Comprehensive knowledge of the Federal Government evaluation process and lifecycle capture activities.
Experience in direct management of large, competitive proposals for Federal clients.
Experience leading or participating in formal proposal reviews (i.e., Pink, Red and/or Gold Team Reviews) and making recommendations for content improvement and/or compliance.
Understanding of IT and Systems Integration concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other tools.
